With 2010 being such a tough year, some Syrah was turned away due to bunch rot and other nasty things. Thus, production is very small, yet very good. Lewis vineyard always produces some of the finest fruit in Washington. I’ve been blessed that this Syrah worked out quite nice. 25% whole cluster fermentation is also present in this wine. We do it the old fashion way and get only women to stomp on the Syrah. While the men drink beer, the women work stomp away…
