Wine:  2009 “Royale” Red Blend

I think I’ll refer to Jon Bonné, from the SF Chronicle, with his review: “Napa native Travis Scarborough is now solo at his Tukwila winery, and his Merlot-rich Royale is one of the best Washington blends to appear in a while – the sort of wine that redeems your faith in Merlot, with its heady tea, jasmine and bayberry accents.”  Couldn’t agree more.  Just one thing to add:  this wine is going fast, so I recommend adding this to your collection.
