Blend: 35% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 20% Mourvedre, 15% Counoise, 10% Syrah
What used to be called MSG around the winery has been MSG, GMCC, and has now evolved to the the next GCMCS blend. In 2013 all the conditions were optimal. The grapes ripened perfectly and this balanced favorite is now going to be have palates around the world rejoicing! This Southern Rhone style blend is as good as ever. The bright vibrant raspberry Grenache, the meaty, earthy, complex Mourvedre, along with the strawberry and soft notes of Cinsault & Counoise, mixed with the high dark, high acid Syrah make this 225 case production quite delicious. Dedicated to the long harvest hours we work after midnight, it will charm you by the supple flavors and the win you over with the complex yet harmonious balance of which was aged for 18 months in oversized (Puncheons) barrels. They only way it will disappoint you is in its production.
